WHO COUNTS IN COUNTDOWN to FINAL CRISIS? – Episode #26 – Every character in the DC Universe!
Did you realize that every week for the last six months, the Pulse has been providing you with detailed analyses and histories of all the characters who have been playing a part in not only Countdown, but the entire DC Universe itself? Over the previous 26 weeks this means character bios, histories and appearances listings for dozens of heroes and villains... A veritable encyclopedia of DC characters! This week, we're providing an index of all these characters, complete with hyperlinks… So bookmark this! You know you'll need it later when you have questions about "Who's Who" in the DC Universe.
This compendium is split into two sections. The initial section is a week-by-week examination of each Countdown #51 through #27, each of which is divided into three parts: First, a SYNOPSIS – a brief summary of each different sub-plot that runs through that particular issue; Second, FIRST APPEARANCES – A list of characters who made their initial appearance in the series that issue; Last, PLOT LINES – As we all know, Countdown has different stories – "threads", as it were – running through each issue and continuing into following weeks. This last section, therefore, tells which character's "thread" appeared in that issue.
Finally, an index and links to each week's Episode of Who Counts in Countdown?, complete with a listing of which characters were examined that week.
Every character's name is a hyperlink to that character's appearance in Who Counts in Countdown? on the Pulse. It's the same article, so for example, anywhere on this page you click Mary Marvel, you'll be magically whisked to her analysis (WCIC? – Episode #49) housed on the Pulse's supercomputers in our arctic Fortress of Solitude.
You'll want to click some of these links today to catch up on some characters you might want to get to know better, or issues you missed. No matter what, you will seriously want to bookmark this feature, and refer to it later. You never know when you'll need to look up the Riddler's first appearance, or what issue Holly Robinson took over for Catwoman. And it's all right here!
