During World War II, Alfredo was hired as a spy by the American G.I.'s to penetrate the Japanese camps in the Philippines since he had knowledge about the Japanese language. His tools were his bicycle, a pencil and his photographic memory. He located were the bombs were hidden and gave the exact locations to the guerilla unit leader and then the American Forces would then do the rest.
Artistic influence varies from Frank Brangwyn, Franklin Booth, Dean Cornwell, JC Leyendecker, Lou Fine, NC Wyatt, etc.
Internationally known for his works on DC Comics, Marvel Comics, The Planet of the Apes, The Lost Adventures of Sherlock Holmes, The Land of Oz, Star Wars, Conan the Barbarian, X-Men, Dungeons and Dragons, Around the World in 80 Days, Heavy Metal magazine(France/Europe), Flintstones(animations), Rambo(animations), Peter Pan(animations), The Centurions(animations), Mr. T(animations), James Bond Jr.(animations), Chuck Norris(animations), Ric O' Shay(western) and other comic strips such as Ukala(Native American), Voltar(viking saga), and WWII comic strips such as Yamato, Prince of Wales, Warspite, Bismarck, Tirpitz, Scharnhorst, Pearl Harbor, Magic Bilao, Anaconda, Kondor, Talusaling, Robin Hood, He-Man and The Masters of the Universe, Batman, Ultraman, Swamp Thing, Destroyer Duck, Moonshot: The Flight of Apollo XII (25th Anniversary of the flight of Apollo 12), The Gift: An illustrated History of the Statue of Liberty for the 100th Anniversary/Centennial Celebration, Justice League, Justice Society of America, etc.
He passed away on April 08, 2000 in Torrance, California due to lung cancer.
On June 18, 2006, he was awarded the HALL OF FAME AWARDS in the Philippines for his timeless contribution in Comics and the Arts at SM Megamall during the 5th Philippine Toys, Hobbies & Collectibles Convention.

He was introduced at the Friar's Club in Beverly Hills, California at the (CAPS) Comic Art Professional Society's banquet for artist Mel Lazarus in July 2000.
Artistic influences are inspired from the 19th Century or the Victorian Period. He worships Franklin Booth, Gustave Dore and Alphonse Mucha and has vowed to continue his father's legacy.
Schools: Don Bosco Technical College Centro Escolar University, Major in Bachelor of Science in Pharmacy.
He was named after his dad's masterpiece and brainchild-Voltar, a Viking-barbarian warrior created in 1963 that won several awards in the Society of Philippine Illustrators and Cartoonists (SPIC) and the Inkpot Awards in San Diego Comics Convention in 1977 and several awards in the field of Fantasy Art in the USA.
Artworks: First published comic art was at San Francisco Comic Book Store for an advertisement. Then he moved on into more fascinating pen & ink and fountain brush artworks on his Gothic Art, Medieval Art, Fantasy Art, Smoke Ninja(anti-tobacco cartoon comic strips), Supernatural Art, The Sword in the Stone, Excalibur, Knights, etc.
His artworks were exhibited at Stanford Art Spaces, the largest gallery in the Bay Area, the USS Hornet Museum, Aircraft Carrier, PG&E Building in San Francisco for it's 100th Anniversary, the San Francisco Main Library and other Comic book Conventions such as the San Diego Comic Book Convention or the ComiCon, the largest Comic Book Convention in the world, WonderCon in San Francisco, SM Megamall for the 4th Annual Comics Seminar in the Philippines.
He also creates his musical masterpieces during his free time and loves good anime movies.
