MARRINAN'S HEADHUNTERS IS STALKING PREY ONCE AGAIN
A darker, edgier look at superheroics can be enjoyed in writer-artist Chris Marrinan's re-release of HeadHunters. Originally published under the Image banner, this hard-hitting saga, now with art revisions and additions, is now available at http://Wowio.com published by Smashout Comics.
Marrinan has brought his art experience from working on such titles as Wonder Woman, Spider-Man, Marvel Comics Presents (Wolverine) and Nova - with the latter two titles including writing chores - to create this tough series. HeadHunters focuses on a group of bounty hunters with powerful abilities, that use any means necessary to keep malignant and demonic criminal forces at bay, while nuclear holocaust is threatened!
With art influences ranging from John Buscema to Frank Miller and beyond, and story elements with echoes of X-Files and Dawn of the Dead, this series has everything a good comic requires: bloody fight scenes, beautiful women, monstrous villains, and a little dry humor.
