_Indie cartoonist Jeff Lemire's recent Top Shelf graphic novels, Tales From The Farm and Ghost Stories, have garnered him critical acclaim and a host of award nominations. In addition DC/VERTIGO will publish his upcoming graphic novel THE NOBODY in 2009. _ _Well, the 3rd Volume of Jeff Lemire's multi-Eisner-nominated ESSEX COUNTY TRILOGY, /The Country Nurse/, isn't available until October, but Lemire has released two, brand new, never before printed "mini-chapters" of the saga!
The two short stories, entitled/ Eddie Elephant-Ears/ and /The Essex County Boxing Club/, are now available exclusively on-line, and as two handsomely produced, limited edition mini-comics!
The 12 and 16 page stories will be serialized on-line for free at Top Shelf's brand new web comic site TOP SHELF 2.0! Lemire is also selling the two new tales from the farm as a set of limited edition, signed and numbered mini-comics. The books will also come with an original sketch by Lemire inside!
