Dandy & Company brings the funny with a daily dose of Adventure!
"When I first started my online comic, DANDY & COMPANY back in 2001, I decided to try and create a fusion of the ever-familiar, gag-a-day comic strips we see in the papers every day with the sweeping adventure strips that graced the newsprint in the golden age of newspaper comics.
As such, I decided to follow the Hollywood tactic of devoting every summer to an EPIC, sweeping adventure! So, while on most day's DANDY & COMPANY can best be described as the slightly skewed story of a boy and his dog, (Or a Dog and his boy, if you were to ask the dog.) every now and again, the scope of the strip widens to include the fantastic! Alien Invaders, evil doubles and every kind of threat you could imagine have all reared their ugly heads to bedevil our heroes. (Heck, At least twice now it was a LITERAL devil.)
Some lengthy hiatus' back in 2006 put the strip on hold, and with it the bigger adventures. But after a lot of re-working and re-building, DANDY & COMPANY is back at full force, running five days a week.
So, now that the strip is back up and running 5-days-a-week, I decided that it was high time to bring back the summer epic! And so head on over to DANDY & COMPANY to read "The Search for Mr. Fuzzy" and remember that you can get your funny with a daily dose of adventure! Enjoy!
