Undead, Unkillable – Dark Judges Return To 2000AD This Summer

2015 series “Dark Justice”, by John Wagner (Judge Dredd, A History of Violence) and Nick Percival (Clive Barker’s Hellraiser) will be followed at 2000AD by a series from the same creative team and featuring the Dark Judges from the earlier storyline.
These “Dark Judges” featured in both stories, are undead and unkillable, and from another dimension, and have featured in several stories since their return to popularity in 2015.
Publisher 2000AD explains the relationship between the two stories by Wagner and Percival:

An Alien-style race-against-time Dark Justice saw undead alien superfiends Judges Death, Fear, Fire, and Mortis run amok on an ark ship full of colonists. Judge Dredd and Judge Anderson raced against time to prevent the mass murdering zombies from claiming the last survivors and at its conclusion Fear had been captured but Death, Fire, and Mortis were left floating in deep space.
Dark Judges: Dominionwill pick up where Dark Justice left off, with an unfortunate cargo ship stumbling upon the three figures and bringing them on board. After killing or possessing the crew, the fearsome threesome travel to a colony planet and all hell breaks loose…

The series will begin in Judge Dredd Megazine #386, publishing in print and digital on July 19th, 2017.
