Image Brings Us Fantasy Series Eternal Empire In May From Creators Of Alex + Ada

Image have announced that an all-new series from the creators of the artificial intelligence driven sci-fi series Alex + Ada will be published in May. Eternal Empire is a fantasy series created by Jonathan Luna (Alex + Ada The Sword, Spider-Woman: Origin) and Sarah Vaughn (Alex + Ada, Deadman: Dark Mansion of Forbidden Love, Ruined) that features a generations-long war waged by the Eternal Empress and follows the life of a young woman whose strange visions may save her from the conflict.
The plot revealed thus far includes these details:
The Eternal Empress has waged war against the countries of Saia for over one hundred years, and now her sights are set on the last country left standing. Within the brutal Empire’s workforce, a young woman receives strange visions that give her the courage to escape her fate…or run straight toward it.
Luna says that he and Vaughn have been building the world of Eternal Empire for over a year and it’s been an immersive experience for them. Both have been hoping to create a fantasy story for some time and have deep personal ties to the genre.
