Is It Even Possible To Forget About Shirtless Bear Fighter, Arriving In June?

I don’t know that anyone could forget about Shirtless Bear Fighter, which was announced at Image’s panel at Emerald City Comic Con, but if somehow you have, set your calendars for June 21st. Written by Jody LeHeup and Sebastian Girner, with art by Nil Vendrell and Mike Spicer, and cover art by Tom Fowler, this comic delivers what its title promises.
Then there’s also what the covers promise:

But in case you need it spelled out, this is about a guy who is “betrayed by the bears that raised him” and becomes known as Shirtless Bear Fighter. He likes fighting bears, eating flapjacks, and “being the angriest man the world has ever known!”, according to Image Comics.
The description goes:

When wild-eyed, super-strong bears attack the citizens of Major City, Shirtless ventures into the human world to do what he does best…PUNCH THOSE BEARS IN THE FACE! But all is not as it seems. Someone is manipulating Shirtless…and only by confronting the demons of his past can Shirtless hope to save his future!  A heart-filled, hilarious, tall tale for the ages… you don’t want to miss SHIRTLESS BEAR-FIGHTER!

Wow. There is lots of punching bears in the face. You can find out more about why they might or might not deserve such treatment when a shirtless man invades comic shelves on June 21st.
