The Punk Scene Is Hellish In Coady And The Creepies #2

by Staff

Coady and the Creepies, a new Boom!Box title from Boom! Studios, arrives for its second issue this week. Written by Liz Prince, with delightful art by Amanda Kirk, and covers by Vaughn Pinpin and Prince, the series, as you might guess, focuses on a young team of band members trying to get their punk group off the ground.
While breaking into the music scene is never easy, this time the Creepies are in for more than they might have imagined–when the “punk underground” turns out to be full of “demon punks”!

But these three sisters and bandmates have their own struggles, too. Coady, Criss, and Corey were in a terrible accident that left Corey scarred and Criss in a wheelchair while Coady seemed to escape unharmed.  Now they are trying to get back to their music, but Coady is hiding a supernatural secret of her own.
On this tour, they are battling bands, unusual beings, and just trying to keep it all together as things get strange.
