Kurt Sutter, Courtney Alameda, Hyeonjin Kim Bring Vigilante Tale Sisters Of Sorrow To Boom

by Staff

Sons of Anarchy writer Kurt Sutter is going to be penning a new series for Boom! Studios in July called Sisters of Sorrow with novelist Courtney Alameda (Shutter), artist Hyeonjin Kim and cover artist Jae Lee.

This “tale of revenge and recovery” features Dominique, Greta, Misha, and Sarah, who run a nonprofit women’s shelter by day, but at night, they “don a nun’s habit” and move through Los Angeles “hunting down violent abusers” who have yet to face justice.
They’ve been getting a public reputation for their vigilantism and are known as the “Sisters of Sorrow”. But criminals aren’t their only enemies–now one of L.A.’s “anti-crime task forces” is out to get them too.
The first issue of Sisters of Sorrow is going to arrive in shops on July 5th. It’s currently listed in the May Previews Catalogue with order number: MAY171224
