Valiant Brings #WorstPowerEver Name Tags To Comic Shops For Secret Weapons #1

 
Coming up in June, Valiant are launching their new series Secret Weapons, written by Oscar nominated writer Eric Heisserer and illustrated by Raul Allen with Patricia Martin. To celebrate its release, Valiant have unleashed Secret Weapons #1 #WorstPowerEver name tags in keeping with the characters in the book, who have been cast away by Toyo Harada for having powers that he doesn’t deem useful.  However, Livewire sees the potential in these young people who can materialize random objects, speak to birds, and more.

These name tags consist of a custom-made sheet of promotional stickers allowing fans everywhere to showcase their special abilities. You can visit a comic shop near you and pick up your sticker before Secret Weapons #1 comes out on June 28th.
You can show what makes you a secret weapon and by following these steps:
1. Head to your participating retailer and claim your Secret Weapons #1 #WorstPowerEver name tag.
2. Write down what your unique ability would be in clear and legible writing on your #WorstPowerEver name tag.
3. Take a photo of yourself wearing your #WorstPowerEver name tag and post it on the official Valiant Twitter account using the #WorstPowerEver hashtag.

The government has dispatched Amanda McKee – the technopath codenamed Livewire – to investigate the ruins of a secret facility formerly run by Toyo Harada, the most powerful telepath on Earth and her former mentor. In his quest for world betterment at any cost, Harada sought out and activated many potential psiots like himself. Those who survived, but whose powers he deemed to have no value to his cause, were hidden away at this installation. But Livewire, having studied Harada’s greatest strengths and learned his deepest weaknesses, senses opportunity where he once saw failure. A young girl who can talk to birds… A boy who can make inanimate objects gently glow… To others, these are expensive disappointments. But, to Livewire, they are secret weapons…in need of a leader.
