Marvel will be participating in BookExpo America and BookCon 2017 this week and weekend, they’ve announced,  taking part in bridging the gap between “pop culture and book buyers, librarians, and book fans of all ages”.

This Thursday, June 1st, you can join novelists Jason Reynolds (Miles Morales: Spider-Man), R. L. Stine (Man-Thing), and Margaret Stohl (Mighty Captain Marvel) and others–as well as some surprise Mighty Marvel Guests–to talk about their work. These creators will discuss bringing their prose skills to Marvel’s graphic fiction, bringing Marvel characters into the prose world, and the universal appeal of Marvel’s new wave of graphic novels. This panel will be held from 12:00 to 12:30 on the Uptown Stage at BEA.

If you aren’t able to attend the convention, Marvel encourage fans to follow along on Marvel.com and @Marvel on Twitter, where they’ll be posting photos and videos, as well as real-time announcements from the convention. They are teasing some news this week about Captain Marvel, Miles Morales, Squirrel Girl, Black Panther, and more.
