X-23 Gets Venomized In Our First Look At Edge Of Venomverse #1

 
Starting on June 28th, and running through July, the 5 issue series Edge of Venomverse takes us into the lead-up to the new Venomverse series from Marvel hitting in September.

Eddie Brock is back and wreaking havoc, but he’s not the only Venom in action. We’ll be joining venomized versions of fan-favorite characters in Edge of Venomverse written by Matthew Rosenberg (Secret Warriors, Kingpin, Rocket Raccoon) and illustrated by Roland Boschi (Karnak, Ghost Rider). Marvel is teasing that we’ll be meeting young mutant clone X-23 who collides with an alien symbiote that affects her already enhanced abilities.
Writer Matthew Rosenberg says:

We are showing a world where X-23 manages to escape from her creators with the help of Venom. It’s a fun chance to explore two of Marvel’s most dangerous characters and see how things could have been different for them if their lives intersected. And if you are a fan of X-23’s early adventures, you’ll be happy to see some familiar, but slightly different faces in the book.

But X-23 is only the beginning of characters who will be venomized.
