BookCon ran last weekend in New York City, and presented a number of panels that brought together books and pop culture. One of the panels that had a surprising intersection between the two brought actress and now author Krysten Ritter to the stage to talk about her new novel Bonfire, a psychological suspense novel.
Known for her title role in Marvel’s Netflix series Jessica Jones, Ritter certainly knows the nuts and bolts of psychological suspense after working alongside David Tennant’s character Kilgrave, whose power over others worked through the mind and will.
