‘You’ll Never Be The Same’ – Keep Up With Two Nanite-Enhanced Soldiers In Bloodshot’s Day Off #1
by Staff
On July 5th, we’re getting a summer holiday like no other in Bloodshot’s Day Off #1 from Valiant. Written by Eliot Rahal (Divinity III: Escape From Gulag 396, The Doorman) and illustrated by Khari Evans (Harbinger, Harley Quinn), in this title we’ll finally find out what a killing machine does on his day off. Or rather, what two of them do with their down time.
After 30 years of service, two nanite-enhanced soldiers once controlled by Project Rising Spirit, known by codenames: “Tank Man” and “Viet Man”, have finally earned some government-sanctioned downtime. After enduring a lifetime of war, these two commandos may think they want a little vacation, but can they really unwind without finding trouble in New York City? But for the reader, we’ll also learn a lot about these soldiers and their former lives along the way.
These old soldiers celebrate Bloodshot’s silver anniversary in an “action-packed tribute” to the original Bloodshot #12 from Valiant. Covers on Bloodshot’s Day Off #1 are by Kano, Khari Evans, Ben Tiesma, and Renato Guedes, with a Ninjak vs. The Valiant Universe cover also available.
