Yes, I’ll admit, my pull list has grown quite a bit over the past few years. However, there are a few titles that remain high at the top of that list. You know what I’m talking about? The ones you would buy even if you had to cut back on comic book purchases? From BOOM! Box, Giant Days by John Allison, with illustrations by Lissa Treiman and Max Sarin is definitely on that list.
Even though we currently find ourselves pretty far into the series, it’s not too late to hop on the bandwagon with this new deluxe hardcover edition. It collects issues #1-8 and for those of us who have already read them, it also has never before collected comics too! There’s an incentive for everyone.
You might be wondering, why would I want to read a comic about a couple of normal girls? I’m telling you the level of friendship in this series is admirable and the stories are relatable, emotional, and funny!
