A Wrinkle In Time Teaser Reveals The Only Thing Faster Than Light Is Darkness

Debuting a short time ago at the D23 convention in Anahiem, the teaser trailer for Ava DuVernay’s adaptation of Madeleine L’Engle’ A Wrinkle In Time reveals a strange world of tesseracts, time distortions and a great hungry darkness on the edge of reality. It’s big budget fantasy at its finest.
I’ll be honest, I’ve not been keeping up with this movie, but it looks amazing. It also reminds me of the sort of fantasy films the 1980s would unleash upon unsuspecting children. Which, I think, is an important thing to do. Fantasy films — the ones aimed at children — should teach them to fight the darkness. It also features a strong cast with names like Oprah Winfrey, Mindy Kaling, Gugu Mbatha-Raw, Michael Pena and Chris Pine. That’s a damn fine assemblage of talent.
Also, can we talk about how distinguished Chris Pine looks with a bit of white in his beard?
