We know the Archie/Betty /Veronica love triangle and the relationship between Moose and Midge, but how does Reggie and Josie sound? That’s what Reggie is looking for in Riverdale #5, due out on August 9th from Archie Comics. The series, set in the same universe as the CW series, dives into the world of Reggie Mantle and Josie McCoy as the former sets his romantic sights on the latter. When Josie shoots him down, how far will Reggie go to convince her he’s worth an audition?

Riverdale the comic has been a nice complement to Riverdale the TV show, especially while the show is on hiatus for the summer. Any fan of the franchise should be reading it.
Riverdale #5 is written by Roberto Aguirre-Sacasa, Tessa Leigh Williams, and Brian E. Paterson, and illustrated by Thomas Pitilli, Andre Szymanowicz, and Janice Chiang. It features covers by Francesco Francavilla and Matthew Don Smith. Look for it at your local comic shop on August 9th, 2017.
