SDCC ’17: Visit The Oasis In Ready Player One Trailer

Warner Bros. has unleashed the first trailer for Steven Spielberg’s upcoming Ready Player One. The director presented the trailer during the Warner Bros. presentation at Comic-Con International: San Diego a short time ago.
Based in the book by Ernest Cline, a younger member of the Missing Millions (Tye Sheridan) narrates his attempt to solve a treasure hunt inside the massive online environment known as the Oasis.
I’m going to be honest. I tried to read the book several times and could not get into it. And this is despite the fact the book was written for me. But that shot of the Iron Giant is all I need to get excited about this one. The cameos by Freddy Krueger and Kaneda are a definite plus.And for once, the unreal look of the special effects is a plus. That’s true movie magic.
Ready Player One hits theaters on March 30th, 2018.
