Meet Don Simpson For The Launch Of Sci-Fi Epic Border Worlds Collection

Escape Pod Comics in Huntington, Long Island, New York, are putting together a grand event to celebrate Don Simpson’s work in comics for the launch of the new edition of his black and white science fiction epic Border Worlds from Dover Books in hardcover.
The launch party is going to be held on Thursday, August 10, 2017, and is also going host Dave Ryan, who writes War of the Independents (of which Simpson drew #4 of) as well as both Peter Lenz (Dover’s editor in charge of Comic acquisitions) and Drew Ford (who used to be editor in charge of Comic Acquisitions at Dover and now has his own imprint, It’s Alive, at IDW).
Don Simpson is also the creator of Megaton Man and (along with Jim Valentino and a plethora of guest-jammers) of Splitting Image 80-page Giant, featuring normalman vs. Megaton Man, lavishly reprinted by Image Comics this past April.
