Roller Derby Events At Barnes & Noble For Boom’s SLAM! Vol. 1 Start Tonight

Boom! Studios have teamed up with Barnes & Noble for a series of roller derby-themed nationwide events to celebrate the arrival of Volume 1 of their comic SLAM! by Pamela Ribon and Veronica Fish in gatherings designed “to unite the communities of comics and roller derby”.

This series of 10 fan events across the country are designed to be a time and place where fans of both comics and derby are “welcome to meet and greet their local leagues to learn more about the hard-hitting sport and engage with the community”.
Pamela Ribon will be joined by the LA Derby Dolls and San Fernando Valley Roller Derby leagues on August 20th at 4PM at the Barnes & Noble at The Grove to sign copies of SLAM! Vol. 1, as well as answer questions from fans in addition to the league meet-and-greet.
