NYCC ’17: Dynamite Will Publish Charlie’s Angels Comics In 2018
by Hannah Means Shannon
In the lead up to New York Comic Con this week, Dynamite Entertainment are revealing several new projects. And one of them ties in to a property that’s reputedly getting a new film treatment soon, Charlie’s Angels.
Dynamite and Sony Pictures Television have struck a deal on the original TV property, and we can expect Charlie’s Angels comics in 2018.
The 1976 Charlie’s Angels television series was created by Ivan Goff and Ben Roberts, with Aaron Spelling serving as Executive Producer for the show during its 5-season run. The iconic series followed the crime-fighting adventures of three women working in a Los Angeles private detective agency for the “mysterious and unseen” Charlie Townsend. The hit series had more than 100 episodes, and followed with syndication and DVD distribution deals.
