Darth Vader Joins The Ranks In Star Wars Battlefront II
by Christine Marie Attardo
You might have heard about Star Wars Battlefront, a multi-player game that is compatible with several gaming systems and PC. However, if you heard about the version prior to this one, you probably heard completely negative things. This time around, EA is definitely trying to make improvements. You can read more about the good and bad of the game here.
This past weekend was the beta test for the second installment in the Star Wars Battlefront games. Naturally, as a lover of the franchise and everything that goes with it, I had to try. I liked that there were two modes in the game, one where you are a player on foot and the other where you’re battling it out in a spaceship of your choosing. I only have one thing to say about that…flying through space is awesome!
With that said, the most exciting news of all has arrived and that is the fact that Darth Vader will be a playable character!

I like the idea that this is an option and I hope it will be in the story mode as well. While I have my reservations about the story mode, I look forward to seeing how it will all unfold. As long as the strange reappearance of Palpatine isn’t something they continue to fall back on…I think I can live with it. Get ready for the games full release on November 17th!
