Celebrate 25 Years Of Power Rangers With An Artist Tribute Book

by James Ferguson

As seen during the Go Go Power Rangers Comics panel at New York Comic Con last week, BOOM! Studios has officially announced an Artist Tribute book celebrating 25 years of Saban’s Power Rangers. The oversized, commemorative hardcover includes more than 60 pieces of original artwork featuring Power Rangers teams across every year of the franchise from Mighty Morphin all the way to Ninja Steel.
The book is scheduled for release in March 2018 and will feature artwork from Kris Anka, Adam Gorham, Marcus To, Dan Mora, and more. When the below artwork was shown at the panel, there was an audible gasp from the crowd. They were pretty excited.

Dafna Pleban, Editor, BOOM! Studios says:

Fans are going to love this special look at the legacy of Power Rangers through the eyes of some of our favorite artists. This is just the beginning of our Megazord-sized plans at BOOM! Studios to celebrate the 25th anniversary of Power Rangers, which includes big news for our monthly Mighty Morphin Power Rangers and Saban’s Go Go Power Rangers series.

The Saban’s Power Rangers Artist Tribute will also include an introduction written by Paul Schrier (aka Bulk from Mighty Morphin Power Rangers), an Afterword by Brian Casetini (Executive Producer, Power Rangers content), and a cover illustrated by Felipe Massafera. This looks like a must have for any fan of the franchise. I am still having a hard time coming to grips that the show I loved as a kid is now 25 years old. I think just realized I’m getting old.
