Luck Runs Out For The Flash In A Preview of Next Week’s Episode

What can a speedster do when a meta comes to town who can cause comical pratfalls? No, really, what can he do? In next week’s episode of The Flash, the team encounters an opponent who spreads bad luck around. That’s a pretty effective way to hamper Barry’s speed powers. Come to think of it, so much of Team Flash’s success depends on good luck that finding a meta like this may be part of The Thinker’s overall plan.
But let’s talk about that second source of metas. Killg%re seemed pretty amused with himself when he refused to answer how he had powers if he wasn’t near the S.T.A.R. Labs explosion four years ago. I seem to recall Team Arrow also faced a meta who was also not in Central City during the accident. A second source of metas is an intriguing mystery, especially as they seem to be keystones in The Thinker’s slowly cooking plot. Considering his resemblance to the New 52 version of the character, I have to assume he’s in search of a new body. Maybe he wants to combine meta powers his new form. Or, of course, I’m completely off base.
