Boom’s Fence #1 Gets A Variant Cover By Dream Daddy’s Shanen Pae

If you’ve been following the popularity of Dream Daddy online, you’ll recognize the name Shanen Pae. Boom! Studios’ upcoming series Fence is quite clear about the fact that it’s got plenty of romantic elements while focused on an all-boys school’s high school fencing team.
The original series from novelist C.S. Pacat and web cartoonist Johanna The Mad debuts soon, on November 15th, 2017. It tells the story of 16-year-old Nicholas Cox, an “outsider to the competitive fencing world”. He signs up for a competition that pits him against fencing prodigy Seiji Katayama and it may send him to an “elite all-boys school” Kings Row.
The Fence #1 Shanen Pae variant cover is available to pre-order, along with the previously announced covers by Johanna The Mad and Kevin Wada (Scarlet Witch)—now at your local comic shop by October 23, 2017.
