The Underground’s Plan Hits A Snag In A Preview Of The Gifted

The Mutant Underground is finally ready to spring Lorna and Reed out of prison. The two are being transferred to that military black site from which no mutant ever returns. With the stakes so high, Marcos plots to hit the convoy transferring the pair. Andrea and Andy are ready to help, too. But as this preview of this week’s The Gifted reveals, Sentinel Services has the ability to negate mutant powers.
So who’s shutting down the Underground’s abilities? Is a mutant with negation powers working (perhaps involuntarily) for Sentinel Services? Considering Agent Turner rejected Dr. Campbell’s offer to help, it’s probably not one of his advances. I’ll admit I don’t know the name of every mutant with this ability, but let’s say it’s Leech. Mainly because it would be cool to see him on a TV show. But it’s always possible its someone with more sinister leanings. Oh! Maybe even Mr. Sinister himself somehow.
