Dinosaurs, Human Sacrifice And Teen Angst Dominate New Runaways Trailer

While Marvel’s Runways has been an exciting on-screen prospect for sometime, the trailers have been a little slight on details of what the show will actually be like. But Huly has released a new, longer trailer which offers a better glimpse of the show. Get ready for something that looks a little like Riverdale, but with all the parents in town turning out to be legit supervillains.
You probably couldn’t have sold the show that way a year ago, but here we are.

Also, did you spot Old Lace in some of those shots? She may not be as popular as Inhuman‘s Lockjaw, but she’s definitely a welcome sight.
Based on the Marvel series created by created by Brian K. Vaughan and Adrian Alphona, Runaways follows a group of teens as they discover their parents are Marvel supervillains. Together, they run away from their homes to atone for their parents’ actions and to discover the secrets of their origins.
The series stars Gregg Sulkin, Allegra Acosta, Ariela Barer, Rhenzy Feliz and Lyrica Okano as the the title characters. Kevin Weisman, Annie Wersching, Ryan Sands, Angel Parker, Ever Carradine, Brigid Brannagh, Brittany Ishibashi and James Marsters assume the roles of the villainous parents.
Runaways debuts November 21st on Hulu.
