Archie Comics’ The Shield: Daughter Of The Revolution TPB Arrives Today

If you were curious, but never got a chance to pick up Archie Comics‘ superhero story, The Shield, today’s your day as it lands in trade paperback in comic shops.
The premise of the story is that throughout the centuries there’s always been a superhero known as The Shield to protect the United States, but this female incarnation has a tougher road ahead as it becomes less clear who the enemy has become.

The four issues of the original miniseries are collected in this trade, written by Adam Christopher and Chuck Wendig, with art by Drew Johnson, Al Barrionuevo, Greg Scott, and Ray Snyder, and colors by Kelly Fitzpatrick, with letters by Rachel Deering.
