The Comics, Collectibles, Cosplay, And Cars Of New Jersey Comic Expo, Part 1

The New Jersey Comic Expo was held on November 18th and 19th for its third year, bringing retailers, comic creators, cosplayers, and more into the limelight for a late in the season show to  round off the year. With Gail Simone as a special guest and a solid core of comic creators in Artist’s Alley, the show felt like an even mix of possibilities for fans–whether getting comics signed, attending a key panel to hear more about characters or creators, to taking part in a cosplay competition.
The past two years I’ve attended the show, it has been particularly strong on collectibles and back issues due to the strong retailer presence, and I always leave wishing I would allow myself to spend more dosh but very happy with my finds.
