Ray Has A Bad Feeling About Meeting Grodd In A Clip From Tonight’s Legends Of Tomorrow

On tonight’s Legends of Tomorrow, the team head to the Vietnam War and, while masquerading as journalists, they come across the leader of a rebel encampment who is definitely an anachronism: the one and only Gorilla Grodd. And as this clip from the episode reveals, Ray Palmer (Brandon Routh) has a bad feeling about meeting the telepathic, super-smart gorilla.
Oh, also, Zari (Tala Ashe) and Amaya (Maisie Richardson-Sellers) aren’t too thrilled to see Grodd, either. But I imagine when the shock wears off, the two may not find him so disagreeable. Amaya might be able to bond with him via her powers while Zari will definitely find Grodd has been mistreated throughout time and space. I wonder if Ray will become fascinated despite himself.
Meanwhile, Grodd’s appearance could be a plot by Mallus to lure the Legends to a time of his choosing. It’s also possible that Darhk (Neal McDonough) will recruit him to his new Legion of Doom.
