Daisy Faces A Fight To The Death In A Preview Of The Next Agents Of S.H.I.E.L.D. Episode

This week’s episode of Agents Of S.H.I.E.L.D. was amazing. It finally told us what happen to Fitz (Iain De Caestecker), reunited him with Lance Hunter (Nick Blood) and explained how he got to the future. It also established how far forward that future is and, one suspects, the threat the team will face should they ever return to the present.
But as the show heads off for a two-week break, this preview will serve as a reminder of the stakes facing the group. Daisy, now revealed to Kascius as Quake, must fight his number one Kree henchman in a fight to the death.
Is this Daisy’s last stand? I imagine that will change the entire nature of reality is she never lives to destroy the world, right? That would be a surprising end to the story line. Meanwhile, nice to see that Simmons and Fitz will be reunited in some way. Their constant separation is something the show needs to lean away from once the current crisis is resolved. Provided it does get resolved.
Agents Of S.H.I.E.L.D. returns January 5th on ABC.
