X-O Manowar Ends His Space Exile And Returns To Earth In #14 In April

Valiant have announced that with issue #14 of their flagship ICONS title X-O Manowar, Aric of Dacia will be returning to Earth after his long sojourn on an alien world. This will be celebrated with a “standalone milestone” that’s engineered to be a jumping on point for new readers of the series, as well.

Let’s not forget the part this might play in leading up to Valiant’s Harbinger Wars 2! On April 25th, the issue written by Matt Kindt and drawn by Ariel Olivetti will bring an end to the first year of the X-O Manowar series and set the stage for things to come. Check out some of the art below and I’m sure you’ll also agree that this is some of the finest artwork we’ve ever seen from master craftsman Olivetti.

Valiant says:

X-O Manowar #14 will feature covers by Kaare Andrews (Astonishing X-Men), Raúl Allén (SECRET WEAPONS), Keron Grant (Fantastic Four), and Felipe Massafera (Shaper).

We don’t have to wait long for the advent of Harbinger Wars 2, either. That event, written by Matt Kindt and Eric Heisserer, and drawn by Tomás Giorello and Raúl Allén, kicks off in May 2018. The event’s premise it that “latent telekinetic harbingers secretly live among us…with the potential to become active any moment” and this forces the American government to a “tipping point” whereby black ops group OMEN is given the authority to eliminate these threats.
