Now that Team Arrow is definitely two teams, it’s up to Oliver (Stephen Amell), Felicity (Emily Bett Rickards) and Diggle (David Ramsey) to foil whatever big plan Cayden James (Micheal Emerson) has in store for Star City. And as this preview of next week’s episode indicates, it begins with making electronic interfaces into literal death panels.
I’m sure the other team — Team Terrific? — will also fight back in their own way, but the situation between the newer heroes and Oliver is still quite frosty. Which, I suppose, is sort of realistic. It just makes for less interesting storytelling as the infighting feels a little forced. Oliver offers to forgive, Curtis (Echo Kellum) decides things were great in Team Arrow. Can’t they fight the way the Legends squabble?
Although, dividing the team was part of James’s plan; but his real goal remains as mysterious as the real reason Ricardo Diaz (Kirk Acevedo) even bothers to show up for work.
