“Wingardium Leviosa” #HPCelebration Weekend = A Potter Fan’s Dream

This past weekend brought the Harry Potter Celebration to Universal Studios in Orlando, Florida. For those of you who weren’t lucky enough to be there, that’s okay! I’ve got the round up on a few important things that happened during the three day event. All in all, it looked like a dream experience for fans.

I’ll never get tired of seeing the Weasley brothers. However, something that I wasn’t expecting was attention to be drawn to the Harry Potter book club. I’ve written about it on here a few times in the past. You might recall a few posts about the Wizarding World Book Club. A pretty extensive panel took place at the celebration which also tied in the most recent book club discussion on social media. With that came two more special guests…

To be honest, I could care less about Victor Krum…but I do love Ginny. All the Weasley love, people! I definitely felt super envious of those who were there to participate in the extra special discussion. However, it’s not too late to participate in the next discussion as the fun continues on social media. Discussions take place on Twitter right here every Friday at 4pm GMT.
Moving forward, something that I was very excited to learn more about was the new Harry Potter mobile game coming this year. It’s called Harry Potter: Hogwarts Mystery. The game will release from Portkey Games and will give players the opportunity to create their own Hogwarts character.
