Daisy Makes Her Stand In A Clip From Tonight’s Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D.

Throughout this season of Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D., the team has faced a seemingly unanswerable question: can time be altered?
From everything they know, the Earth will be destroyed by Daisy Johnson (Chloe Bennet), leading to the Kree occupation of the last habitable chunk of the ex-planet. And according to Fitz (Iain De Caestecker) — in two time periods, no less — these events cannot be changed. To borrow the parlance of another science fiction series, the destruction of the Earth is a fixed point in time. Of course, it may only seem that way to Fitz because the changes cannot be perceived. Temporal mechanics are funny that way.
But the fear of the future is enough to make Daisy take a stand in this clip from tonight’s show. She reveals her decision to May (Ming-Na Wen) and Coulson (Clark Gregg), who definitely turn into disapproving parents in the moment. Well they try to lead her toward a different path?
