Explore History And Fine Wine In Armstrong And The Vault Of Spirits #1

A very special one-shot is arriving from Valiant next Wednesday, February 7th, taking us on a wine-soaked tour of Armstrong’s history. Armstrong and the Vault of Spirits #1 (with a play on the word “spirits”) should be an amusing and informative ride for fans of the immortal being.
Written by Fred Van Lente, who is always particularly strong on historical subject as a history buff, and illustrated by Cafu and Darick Robertson, the one-shot has covers by Kalman Andrasofszky, Juan Jose Ryp, Ryan Bodenheim, and Clayton Henry.

In this story, we follow Armstrong to NYC’s “seediest dive bar” for an invitation-only gathering of his “beloved friends and allies”. Taking part are Ivar, Timewalker, Faith, Quantum and Woody, and more from the Valiant Universe. They will experience a tour of Armstrong’s personal “treasure” from ancient times, with plenty of storytelling based on the artifacts he presents.

We haven’t had many shots in recent history to get to know Armstrong in this way, and this is our chance!
