Kara And Alex Debate The Worldkillers In A Clip From Tonight’s Supergirl

 
Kara (Melissa Benoist) is always trying to find the good in people. It is an aspect of her character which does her credit, but also brings her into harms way quite often. In a clip from tonight’s episode of Supergirl, Kara believes she can get through to the woman hosting the Worldkiller known as Purity (Krys Marshall). Alex (Chyler Leigh) is not so sure. That is to say, she’s certain Kara’s plan will fail because it often does.

Then again, Kara did get through to Live Wire (Brit Morgan) a couple of weeks back. Not that she was long for this world, but she proved that under her tough exterior was someone Kara could trust. On the other hand, the Worldkillers are a very different breed. Made to champion the cause of an older, sterner Krypton, it is unclear if the House of El’s brand of empathy and hope will be an sort of tonic for their need to destroy and consume.
And whatever happen tonight, we won’t be able to see how Kara (and the Legion of Superheroes) deals with the crisis until April. Next week, Legends of Tomorrow returns to finish off its 18-episode third season. Meanwhile, let’s speculate what kind of carnage we might be left with after tonight’s show.
