Valiant Taps Eliot Rahal And Francis Portella For Quantum And Woody! Harbinger Wars 2 Tie-In

Valiant have announced that Quantum and Woody! #6 is going to mark the first issue of a new arc that leads into Harbinger Wars 2, but have also announced a new creative team taking the helm at that juncture.
In fact, remember when we learned that Harbinger Wars 2 would bring a power outage across the USA? Well, it looks like Quantum and Woody are going to be caught in the middle of that, trying to survive the problem.

On May 30th, excellent comics and comedy writer Eliot Rahal (Bloodshot’s Day Off, Return to Whisper, The Paybacks) and artist Francis Portela (Faith) finally answer the gripping question: are Quantum and Woody really as powerful as the other heroes out there, and just what happens if they don’t “Klang,” anyway? That last one is a little terrifying to address. I’ve always imagined they might dissolve or resolve into separate piles of goo, personally.
According to Valiant, when Livewire turns the power off in the USA during Harbinger Wars 2, the brothers aren’t going to be able to “Klang” (hence the “Klunk” of the cover above) and if they can’t resolve the situation within 24 hours, there’s no telling what might happen for the heroes.
Quantum and Woody! #6 will feature covers by Ariel Olivetti (X-O Manowar, The Incredible Hulk), Geoff Shaw (God Country), and Javier Pulido (Amazing Spider-Man, She-Hulk):
