ECCC 2018: Lara Croft Goes To Antarctica In New Dark Horse Series

by Hannah Means Shannon

Dark Horse have been publishing Tomb Raider comics for some time, and with a new film coming up, now’s the time to keep the series coming. A new team took over in the previous arc the publisher released, and that same team is returning for Tomb Raider: Inferno. As you will almost certainly not guess from the comic’s title, the series will take Lara Croft to Antarctica.

Phillip Sevy will return as artist, and be joined by writers Jackson Lanzing (Gotham City Garage, Joyride, Hacktivist, Grayson) and Collin Kelly (Gotham City Garage, Joyride, Hacktivist, Grayson) as they continue Lara’s quest to “uncover the secrets of an enigmatic criminal organization known as Trinity, even if it means following them to the ends of the earth”.

Dark Horse’s Tomb Raider comics continue the story from the Rise of the Tomb Raider games from Crystal Dynamics. Tomb Raider: Inferno is designed as a jumping on point for new readers, the publisher says.

Tomb Raider: Inferno #1 (of 4) goes on sale June 13, 2018 and is available for pre-order at your local comic shop.
