Johnny Lawrence And Daniel LaRusso Square Off Again In Cobra Kai Trailer

YouTube Red has released a full trailer for their upcoming series Cobra Kai. Starring The Karate Kid‘s William Zabka and Ralph Macchio, the series revisits their two characters, Johnny Lawrence and Daniel LaRusso, 34 years after their showdown at the All-Valley Karate Tournament. And as the trailer illustrates, Johnny’s life took a massive detour after Daniel defeated him.
Not everything is great in Daniel’s world, either. As his children get older he feels less and less connected to them. He also misses the council of Mr. Miyagi, his former sensei. But when he learns Johnny is setting himself up as a sensei to a group of new teens, Daniel feels duty-bound to stop the Corba Kai dojo from rising again.
The show looks fun and really well produced. I’m looking forward to giving the series a try when it hits YouTube Red on May 2nd.
