Supergirl Producers Discuss Kara’ Relief In An Inside Look At Tonight’s Episode

Tonight’s episode of Supergirl sees Kara (Melissa Benoist) return to Argo City after learning it was saved following the destruction of Krypton. And in the following Inside Look video, executive producers Jessica Queller and Robert Rovner discuss Kara’s relief when she returns to Argo for an extended stay among fellow Kryptonians. They do not, however, explain why everyone is so chill with Daxamite prince Mon-El (Chris Wood) and his continued presence in town. The producers also take a look at the Earthbound plot, in which J’onn (David Harewood) and James (Mehcad Brooks) investigate an apparent theft of specially-made DEO firearms. Is there a leak in the department?
But one still has to wonder how quickly Kara will learn of the Worldkiller religion’s presence in Argo or if the remaining Kryptonians coming to Earth will form the basis of season four. “New Krypton” storylines do occur in the comics, but it would be very similar to last year’s Daxamite story. Either way, it will be interesting to see how and why Supergirl returns to Earth — probably by the end of tonight’s episode.
