Marvel Launches Asgardians Of The Galaxy From Cullen Bunn And Matteo Lolli In September

Marvel Comics started by teasing that with the Guardians of the Galaxy down for the count following the events of Infinity Wars, we’d be getting a new hero team…

And now they’ve revealed that unlikely but interesting team of Asgardians of the Galaxy, written by Cullen Bunn and illustrated by Matteo Lolli arriving in September 2018.

The team is described by Marvel thus:

 
“ANGELA, the not-so-beloved half-sister of Thor.
The hotheaded VALKYRIE – and the human who shares her form, Annabelle Riggs.
SKURGE the EXECUTIONER, freshly returned from Hel.
THROG, the mightiest frog of thunder.
Kevin Masterson, the boy who took his father’s mace to become the hero THUNDERSTRIKE.
And the DESTROYER, the Asgardian armor built to take down Celestials – its wielder unknown.”
 
We’ll be looking out for these “new guardians” of the galaxy in September 2018.
