A Hostage Situation Sends Riverdale Into Chaos In This First Look At Archie #32

When we last left the Riverdale gang at the Spring Dance, Cheryl Blossom’s biological father had chained up the doors and held everyone hostage. After breaking out of prison, he had plans to abscond with his two kids and make out like a bandit. Needless to say, it’s a pretty tense situation and a completely different set of drama than what these teenagers are used to. Archie Comics has shared an advanced preview of Archie #32, continuing the story in July.

It all comes down to this! The Riverdale gang—held hostage by Cheryl Blossom’s father! Reggie—at last paying for his crimes! And when all is said and done, Riverdale is turned upside down once more!

Archie #32 is written by Mark Waid and Ian Flynn, Illustrated by Audrey Mok, colored by Kelly Fitzpatrick, and lettered by Jack Morelli. It features a regular cover by Audrey Mok and a variant cover by Robert Hack and Kelly Fitzpatrick, and another by Peter Krause and Rosario “Tito” Peña. It is scheduled for release on July 11th, 2018. The final order cutoff date for comic shops is Monday, June 18th.
