by Erik Amaya
While we’ve known Doctor Who would be returning for its annual Comic-Con International: San Diego panel in a few weeks, the date and time have been more of a mystery. For the last few years, the show has found itself in Hall H on Sunday afternoons. But with a new lead actor in the part, new companions and new producers, Doctor Who is getting a new day and time at Comic-Con: July 19th.
ANNOUNCING: @BBCAMERICA‘s #DoctorWho panel at #SDCC

As mentioned above, new star Jodie Whittaker will make her first Comic-Con during the panel. Co-stars Tosin Cole and Mandip Gill, new showrunner Chris Chibnall and executive producer Matt Strevens will also be in attendance to field questions from excited fans and, most likely, unveil a trailer for the 11th series of the revived British sci-fi series. For those at home, expect that trailer to appear on BBC America’s YouTube page shortly after noon if last year’s panel and trailer drop for Peter Capaldi’s final episode are any indication.
Doctor Who returns to BBC America in the Fall.
