Deadpool To Invade SDCC’s Hall H; Screen “Uncut” Sequel

In case you didn’t get enough of Deadpool (Ryan Reynolds) in Deadpool 2, the film will come to home video with an expanded edition.
According to IGN, the Deadpool 2 Super Duper $@%!#& Cut will be released on digital August 7th and on disc August 21st. Both releases will feature 15 minutes of never-before-seen footage, a commentary track by Reynolds, director David Leitch, and writers Rhett Reese and Paul Wernick on the theatrical cut, deleted scenes, alternate jokes, extended takes and other home video bells and whistles. They were pretty fun last time, so the new bonus features should be pretty good as long as no one gets fridged.
Deadpool’s current home studio, 20th Century Fox, will also take over Hall H at Comic-Con International: San Diego on Saturday, July 21st at 5:15pm for a “”Deadpool and Pals” panel — Marvel Studios’ usual slot — and screen the Super Duper $@%!#& Cut for fans at a nearby movie theater later that night. It all sounds like a big push for Deadpool 2, but considering the sort of stunts they do for these movies, maybe it’s not big enough.
Deadpool 2 hits home video on August 7th.
