Build & Relive Scenes From Empire With New Lego Cloud City Set

by Gary Catig

Lego has released some mega construction sets for their Star Wars line in the past including the Death Star, the Ewok Village, and Assault on Hoth. The toy company has announced their most recent big set addition, Betrayal at Cloud City. Much like the previously named ones, Cloud City comes with a hefty price tag. It will cost $349.99 but has so much to offer.
First off, the set is divided into four different sections depicting specific scenes from the movie, The Empire Strikes Back. There is the landing platform that comes with Boba Fett’s ship, Slave 1.

In the next section, there is the dining room where Darth Vader surprises our heroes, a lounge, garbage processing room, and promenade area.

The third section has a maintenance cabin and a carbon freeze chamber. This is where Darth Vader and Luke have their first epic duel.

Finally, there is an interrogation chamber, prison cell, and hanger with a Cloud Car.

The set also includes a whopping 18 minifigures plus two droids. You can collect Luke, Han and Leia in both their Hoth and Bespin outfits, Chewie, C3PO, Lando, Lobot, Darth Vader, Boba Fett, two Stormtroopers, Cloud City Guards, and Cloud City Pilots, an Ugnaught, R2-D2 and IG-88.

This is quite an impressive set and can be picked up on September 13th for Lego VIP members and October 1st, 2018 for everyone else.
