Kara Discusses Her Fears In The Latest Supergirl Preview

Supergirl returns next month with a move to Sunday nights as The CW attempts to carve out that suddenly lucrative market — The Walking Dead and Doctor Who air that night as well — which may explain why this new preview of the show’s upcoming fourth season addresses fear itself.
In the scene, Kara (Melissa Benoist) explains to Nia (Nicole Maines) that despite conquering a number of fears, fear itself is not something that can be vanquished entirely. As she puts it, “something chases me back down the rabbit hole.” The challenge, of course, is to overcome it.
The preview includes a succession of interesting shots, including a glimpse of Rhona Mitra as Mercy Graves and Sam Witwer as Agent Liberty. But the most intriguing shots include someone in a S-Shield branded space suit. Is it Kara or someone else? And if it is Kara, why is she shielding herself from the sun?
These and many more questions will be raised when Supergirl returns October 14th on The CW.
