The bon homie of Legends of Tomorrow‘s crew may not survive the arrival of mystical creatures.
Following the defeat of Mallus last season, a “door” opened in the fabric of spacetime, allowing creatures of myth and fable to enter into Earth-1’s plane of existence. With John Constantine (Matt Ryan) aiding them, the group must contain the new threat. But deciding how best to address the invasion may lead to a wedge between the Waverider crew.
While speaking with TVInsider, producer Phil Klemmer said the team’s new mission will lead to “hardliners and sympathizers” as not all of the mythical creatures are inherently evil; like Maisie Richardson-Seller’s new character, for example. “I do want to bring the Legends to a place where they’re turning against one another,” Klemmer said. “I hope people can tolerate that.”
The new season will unveil more of Zari’s (Tala Ashe) backstory and more screentime for Beebo; which is really all anyone really wants.
Legends of Tomorrow returns October 22nd on The CW.
