NYCC 2018: Blade Runner 2049 Screenwriter To Script Blade Runner Comics For Titan

One of the surprise announcement earlier this year was Titan Comics announcing that they’d bagged the Blade Runner franchise. Well, now we’re getting more details as we hear the’ve also bagged Blade Runner 2049 scribe Michael Green, who you may also know from the Starz series American Gods, and Logan, which earned Green an Oscar nomination for Best Adapted Screenplay in 2018. He’s no stranger to Comics either, having written Supergirl, Superman/Batman and Transformers.
No other firmer details are available at the time of writing other than Green will be teaming up with Michael Johnston, a longtime collaborator of Green’s, to pen the highly-anticipated in-canon Blade Runner comic series for Titan Comics and Alcon Media Group. This will be one of several titles Titan hope to all out next year and beyond.
